The fuel cell are used in many applications and are regarded as a possible alternative to fossil fuels. In fact, these batteries allow to convert directly a source of chemical energy, for example, hydrogen, or ethanol in electrical energy.
It is proposed a manufacturing process of a thin-film solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) with at least an anode (2), an electrolyte (1) and a remarkable cathode (3) in that it has at least the following steps of:
– deposits by magnetron sputtering of an electrolyte (1) on a first electrode (2)
– deposits by magnetron sputtering of a second electrode (3) on the electrolyte (1)
– Versatile integrated process
– Clean and economic process
– Precise control of densities/porosity, stoichiometry of deposited films
The use of low temperature thin-film solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) concerns the auxiliary of power for domestic applications and in the transport (food, air conditioning,…)
