TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
The invention concerns compounds of formula RfSO2NH<->Y<+>, wherein: R1 represents a C7-C9 perfluoroalkyl group and Y<+> a cation, their preparation method and their use as complex-forming agents as well as a method for recovering polyvalent cations using said complex-forming agents.
BENEFITS
Perfluoroalkanesulfonamide salts form insoluble complexes with polyvalent cations in neutr al aqueous media.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
Perfluoroalkanesulfonamide salts are useful as complexing agents for polyvalent cations, especially for water treatment to remove heavy metals.
