Description

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION

The invention describes a device and a method to vary a capacitance positively and negatively, resulting in a decrease of the equivalent capacitance of an external component (circuit, capacitor …).
The invention includes :
– a specific dipole with specific material,
– a DC power supply,
– a method to adjust the dipole capacitance.

ADVANTAGES

– Provides negative capacitance to offset the capacitance of a circuit or device (cf. example below)
– Easy to integrate into electronic circuits

INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS

This innovation can be used in the microelectronics industry for reducing or canceling capacitances in integrated circuits.
The invention could be also of interest for diode applications.
